Built on Real Experience

We started burnondynamo because we kept finding the same security gaps everywhere we looked. Someone had to fix this properly.

How We Actually Got Here

Back in 2023, I was doing routine security audits for traditional financial systems. Pretty standard work. Then a client asked me to look at their new blockchain project – just to "make sure everything looked okay."

It didn't. Not even close.

What I found was a pattern. Smart contracts with the same vulnerabilities, testing that missed obvious attack vectors, and security practices that wouldn't pass a basic compliance check in traditional finance.

So we did something about it. Started small – helping local startups understand where their code could break. Word spread. Now we're the team that other security firms call when they need a second opinion on complex blockchain architectures.

The People Behind the Audits

We're not your typical blockchain security team. Our backgrounds are diverse, but we all share one thing – we've seen what happens when security is an afterthought.

Esperanza Villanueva, Lead Security Auditor

Esperanza Villanueva

Lead Security Auditor

Former financial systems analyst who discovered blockchain vulnerabilities during a routine bank audit in 2022. She's the one who catches the subtle logic errors that automated tools miss. Has prevented over $2.3 million in potential losses through careful manual review.

Tomás Echevarría, Penetration Testing Specialist

Tomás Echevarría

Penetration Testing Specialist

Self-taught security researcher who identified critical flaws in three major DeFi protocols before joining us. Specializes in finding the attack vectors that only become obvious after someone exploits them. His testing scenarios are uncomfortably realistic.

What Drives Our Work

Every security audit we do is guided by principles we learned the hard way – usually by seeing what happens when these things are ignored.

No False Confidence

We've seen too many projects launch with "security cleared" stamps that meant nothing. Our reports tell you exactly what we tested, what we found, and what we couldn't verify. If there's uncertainty, we say so clearly.

Real-World Attack Simulation

Academic security is different from actual security. We test your systems the way real attackers would – with patience, creativity, and complete disregard for how things are "supposed" to work.

Practical Solutions

Finding problems is easy. Fixing them within your budget and timeline constraints is the real challenge. We provide specific remediation steps that your development team can actually implement.

Long-term Partnership

Security isn't a one-time checklist. As your project evolves, new attack surfaces emerge. We build relationships with teams who understand that good security is an ongoing conversation, not a single audit.
